Well, they go for $400 new, so as long as it doesn’t catch on fire, absolutely.
Although personally, I think Nvidias are better.

This is replacing my trusty R9 270 that I got a year ago for $135 so... yeah. It runs all my games on ultra at 1920x1200 unlike the 270... which had trouble on high with AA turned off
